/ notebook

Hello, world. A place to begin.

On small websites, blank pages, and making a little space of your own.

Demonstration post. This is sample content to show how the blog reads. Replace it with your own first post.

There is something nice about an empty terminal. A quiet prompt, a blinking cursor, and the possibility of making something useful.

This website starts with that same feeling. A small space for notes that deserve a longer life than a browser tab.

A home for unfinished thoughts

A personal website doesn’t need to be a polished announcement. It can be a notebook: a useful command, an interesting question, or an explanation you wish you’d found a week earlier.

The good part is getting to decide what belongs here.

  • Things learned while building something.
  • Tools that make everyday work a little better.
  • Questions that don’t have tidy answers yet.

One file at a time

Posts on this site are Markdown files. A title, a date, a little context, and then the writing. The terminal is the frame; the words are the point.

# A small ritual for a new idea
mkdir -p notes
printf 'Start somewhere.\n' > notes/first-thought.md
cat notes/first-thought.md

You can navigate with the links, or press : and type blog. If you feel at home in Vim, try j and k to move through the page.

Leave room for what comes next

Not everything needs a grand plan. Sometimes a blank page and a place to publish are enough.

Thanks for stopping by.
